Kimberly Wright
Kim is a tax advisor with more than 15 years of experience partnering with clients to guide them through their business and individual tax related needs. She has expertise in state and local tax (SALT) rules and regulations and provides tax services to clients that have a tax footprint across the United States and in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, wholesale and distribution, professional services, and retail. Kim’s technical focus is multistate tax consulting and planning in the areas of income and franchise tax, sales and use tax, nexus determination, apportionment sourcing, and credits. Her extensive experience provides her the background to represent clients in SALT controversies and assist in state tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions.
In addition to her work in public accounting, Kim was a member of the corporate tax department at Trans World Entertainment Corporation, one of the country's largest specialty music retailers. This combined experience provides her well-rounded knowledge to help clients with their tax planning and compliance needs.
An active member of the community, she is a 2018 graduate of the Rensselaer County Chamber of Commerce Leadership Institute. Born and raised in Colonie, NY, Kim still calls this area home with her husband and two children. When not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and participating in a variety of sports.
